L2-S1 Pre-Processor is not running

Dear Sen4cap,

I got below error and it can’t generate output. There’s also warning to upgrade SNAP. Please kindly help to solve it out.

Dear Henry,

I assume that you were still using version 1.0.0 of the system as the latest version of installer upgrades SNAP to version 7 as indeed, version 6 has some addresses for downloaded SRTM that are no longer available (they changed).

Do you think it’s the reason that L2-S1 is not working as this post?

Generating failed of L2-S1 product

Dear Henry, From what I see in the logs, it is actually the S2 L2A pre-processor (demmaccs using MAJA) that is not working and the reason seems that the input product was deleted from the disk or the archive of the product S2B_MSIL1C_20191002T034549_N0208_R104_T47PPR_20191002T081906 was corrupted. Could you please check if you still have the product /mnt/archive/dwn_def/s2/default/nun1/S2B_MSIL1C_20191002T034549_N0208_R104_T47PPR_20191002T081906.zip on the disk? Or maybe somebody manually chan…

Hello Henry,

These are actually 3 different issues:

• The one from this thread is referring to the fact that the previous version of SNAP does not have anymore the correct paths for the SRTM download site(s). This conduct to a failure in one of the S1 pre-processing steps conducting to products with only NO_DATA (as dem cannot be used).
• The conda issue from the first is related to a conda installation. We are still investigating this as it seems a new problem that we did not encountered so far and might be specific to your configuration and we’ll need more infos from your side. Also, please note that conda environment is used in Sen4CAP only for L4B processor. The other components of the system do not use this environment.
• The second link for the topic is for an Sentinel 2 L2A product issue. Even if you marked it as an S1 topic, is actually an S2 issue but here the product disappeared from the disk so you will have to investigate also on your side why the product disappeared. Do you have /mnt/archive mounted on a network drive? Did you had any power/network failures and maybe your product was not saved properly?

For 3rd issue, i confirm that we don’t have network drive. Even I created site again for L4x product, it was still not generating product.
